Showing your cat

Hawaii's show scene is significantly different than the mainland in that because our club is small, and entry and spectator counts are much lower, we rally and support anyone who is interested in showing their cats (pedigreed or not). We have a sense of camaraderie and "Ohana" in the show hall and the senior exhibitors are willing to teach those new to the hobby.

The first person you want to turn to is your breeder, as they can help guide you in how to groom and show your specific breed. Your breeder will teach you best practices as they want their cats winning titles that reflect on them.
